PTA Annual Fund:
2009 / 2010 BUDGET
The Annual Fund is the additional financial support parents provide to ensure our children get the best education possible. Currently, the amount of state funding we receive is well below the national average and even lower this year due to state budget cuts. Last year, the PTA voted to increase the suggested tax-deductible donation to $375 per student to help bridge the budget gap. Without parent support, valuable programs, learning specialists, teacher aides, small class sizes, and the teaching tools are at risk.
